disappointing dollar account invested to UITF

I checked my dollar account with BDO and I found out that it earned so little–that’s after almost a year. I decided to close the account and invest them at BPI Philippine Dollar Bond Index Fund. I hope it will earn much when I redeem it. You may wonder what made me decide to invest it here. Well, Sir Tom Torres of BPI was very kind enough to share his knowledge on UITFs. It was very enlightening talking to him.

I met Sir Tom through a fellow gym member Donna. Last Friday, she introduced me to Sir Tom and Sir Tom did his best to impart his knowledge on UITFs, I still want to talk to him someday.

Last Friday, I invested on BPI Equity Fund. I am an aggressive investor, you see. I realized that despite the risk, I will earn much if I will invest my money here.

goodbye credit card no.1

Last week, I summoned the courage to pay my entire BDO credit card bill and cut it into two. Then I called the BDO hotline to cancel it. The agent asked me why I decided to cancel my card and I told her that I just want to be debt free. I want to be financially independent. After that, I felt happy. Cancelling the card was liberating for me.

My next plan is to pay my credit card No. 2 this end of the month. Onwards to financial freedom!
