i spent two years in this Regional Trial Court. I learned a lot. I was just a budding public attorney then. Now, I guess, I am a bit equipped. I have tw0 (2) days for criminal cases in that court and one (1) day for civil cases. I handle around 17 or 18 cases per day in that court. That means 34-36 criminal cases in a week. I face two (2) public prosecutors. It was very demanding. I usually have 5 day hearings in a week. I get stressed out most of the times. I handled this court for more than two years.
Definitely, I will miss it. I will miss my very kind judge, my friend branch clerk of court, my stenographers particularly Ate Eds. Definitely, I won’t miss the court interpreter and my two (2) fiscals. One is known for toxicity although I learned a lot from her. The onther one is known for being corrupt just like the court interpreter.
In this court, I learned a lot. My integrity was tested but I passed the test. I remained clean. I did not sign a demurrer already made by the interpreter. I just hate anything corrupt.
I will transfer in this court. I heard that there are some of the staff who are corrupt as well. I do wish that they would never drag me to their hullaballoos. In this court, there will be few cases, few hearing dates, less toxicity.
